A submission to the United Nations has been prepared concerning the recent increase in executions in the Islamic Republic of Iran, including allegations of torture, enforced confessions, politically motivated prosecutions, and serious violations of fair trial guarantees.
The submission calls for:
• strengthened international monitoring,
• urgent protective measures for individuals at risk,
• and the establishment of an independent international investigative mechanism concerning executions and related human rights violations in Iran.
We respectfully invite organizations, institutions, academics, writers, artists, parliamentarians, legal experts, human rights defenders, and public figures to review and endorse this submission.
In the face of executions and violations of fundamental human rights, international silence must not prevail.
